MEAT

The ostrich meat should have a place in our daily nutrition, as it combines ideally taste and healthy nutrition. More specifically, it has the same taste and nutrients as veal meat, as well as the same iron and protein content. However, it has at the same time half the fat of chicken meat and 2/3 less fat than veal and pork meat.      
 
Thus, it has much less calories and consists a healthy choice which does not however sacrifice the good taste. Ostrich meat, thanks to its low fat, can be cooked in much less time than the other kinds of meat.
